Privacy Policy
This early-stage policy explains what ExamMate may collect, why it is used, and the choices available to you.
Information you provide
You may provide an email address when joining the waitlist or creating an ExamMate account. In the iOS app, you may also paste or upload study materials, create courses, answer practice questions, and request feedback.
How study materials are used
Study materials and answers may be processed to generate exam questions, grade written answers, provide feedback, and identify topics that need more practice. Please upload only content you have permission to use.
Services we rely on
ExamMate may use service providers including Supabase for account, database, and backend services, and OpenAI for AI-assisted question generation and answer feedback. These providers process data according to their own terms and privacy practices.
Payments
Purchases for the iOS app will be handled by Apple through the App Store. ExamMate does not receive or store your full payment card details.
Data retention and deletion
Data is kept only as long as needed to provide and improve the service, meet legal obligations, or resolve support issues. You can request deletion of your account and associated cloud data by contacting support.exammate@gmail.com.
Your choices
You can choose not to create an account and use supported local features where available. You can also ask questions about your data or request account deletion through support.
Updates and contact
This policy may be updated as ExamMate moves through beta and adds new features. Material changes will be reflected on this page. For privacy questions, email support.exammate@gmail.com.
